Devil’s Backbone
(Wintergreen, VA - a great local brew)

Striped Bass Ale
Golden in color, light to medium bodied with obvious citrus American hop flavor 5%  26 IBUs

Belgian Wit
 Hazy straw in color with spicy citrus aromatic notes from fresh ground coriander, orange peel, and a third “secret” spice that are added to the beer. 4.5% 15 IBUs

Gold Leaf Lager
2009 and 2010 Great Amer. Beer Festival Gold Medal winner – pale light body with a crisp and dry finish 4.5%  17 IBUs

Vienna Lager
Amber Lager with hints of caramel and toasted nuts- 4 different malts go into this complex lager 4.9%, 20 IBUs

8-Point IPA
West Coast style IPA with intense hop flavor and aroma 5.9%  60 IBUs

Belgian Congo Pale
Brewed like an IPA, it blends pine & citrus hop flavors with hints of apple & pear from a secret Belgian yeast strain  6.7%, 50 IBUs

Monumental IPA
  Rich copper color with intense hop and floral notes that are balanced with citrus and resin and a caramel background   6.3%  50 IBUs

Optimal Wit
 Belgian wit bier style brew – raw wheat and oats are steeped with coriander and orange peel – a perfect unfiltered ale that lends itself to spring and summer drinking 5.0% 15 IBUs

Essential Pale Ale
Deep golden color with fresh American hop aroma balanced by English and German malts.  A classic pale 5.5%  35 IBUs

The Porter
Flagship beer for Port City – a robust porter that exhibits notes of coffee and chocolate and pours ink black with a rich brown lace on top  7.5%  45 IBUs

Tartan Scottish Ale
Deep, copper colored Scottish ale with lots of malty caramel balanced by a delicate hop aroma
